I think from a researching point of view its better to watch the movie, then read the book and then watch the film a second time because if you watch the movie you get a idea of the story and if you then read the book you can pick up on the fine little details of the story and finally you watch the movie to pick up on all the differences in the book and movie.
From an enjoyment point of viewI say it better to read the book and then watch the movie because when you read the book you need to use your imagination, you see characters as you would think they look and after you done watch the movie to see the directors version of the story.

Chapter 2
After a rough night sleeping in some hay I truly wasn’t ready to find work, but I had to if I wanted to eat. I was looking through some of the fliers when I found a job as a farm hand near a small settlement outside of town. It wasn’t what I was hoping for on my adventure but it was my only chance to get food.
It didn’t take me long to find the settlement. When I got there, there were only five buildings, two of them on a hill, one seemed to store grain the other seemed to be a stable and the rest appeared to be houses. It wasn’t much but it was much more peaceful than the city. I rather liked it.
No-one answered the door when I went knocking, no-one seemed to be anywhere. The place seemed to have an eerie unpleasant quiet feel about it.
In the distance I could hear the sound of galloping hooves and a loud horn getting closer. It looked like ten battle hardened horseman with swords and shields. I panicked. I hid in one of the houses nearby. These men didn’t seem particularly friendly in fact I knew they were here to raid the settlement.
Some of the men went off to pillage the other buildings. I grabbed a fire poker to protect myself. Before I knew it one of the men came crashing through the door yelling ‘ there he is, get him’. He grabbed me by the neck and dragged me outside, he tied my hands and tied my legs. They took me to the other captives, they seemed to be farmers and villagers, probably the people from the settlement.
One of the raiders went up to a building with a torch and was about to set it alight but he screamed as an arrow flew through the air, piercing his hand.
Another raider yelled out ‘we’re under attack’ as four cloaked figures appeared from the forest. A fight broke out and two of the strangers went to left holding off the raiders while another went to the right. He was considerably larger than the others. I couldn’t see his face but he wielded a massive axe. The smallest of the four came up to me and the captives and freed us, I was given a sword and told ‘ come help me fight these raiders’
To my surprise she was a girl, she was fast and swift with her sword.
I went after some raiders. I ducked I swerved and I swished my sword around, realising I’ve never actually used a sword before. Amazingly I survived and helped drive the raiders away.
The villagers cheered, today we were victorious. I went over to them and an old man said ’you’ve done us a great deed today. I would like to repay you with some food. It’s not much but I want you to have it.’
I thanked him, I was just happy to get some food and know that I helped saved their town.
I went over to the four mysterious strangers to thank them for freeing me. This is the time I met, Claire, Samson, Sig and Fisher for the first time. It was the beginning of my new life.

This is chapter one of my new story. It currently doesn’t have a name but ill properly have one by chapter two. I plan 14 things that happen in the story and in chapter one only 1/14 things happen. so I hope you like it
Chapter-1
It was late evening when my ship came into port. I had come from one of the sister islands from where I left my family and riches. I left because I longed for adventure. I hated the posh lifestyle and unwanted privileges , I wanted to know what it was like living on the edge.
I came to Pravon in search of a new life.
My name is Jack, Jack Atlas to you and I’m looking for adventure.
As I stepped off the ship I saw a large and crowed industrial city clouded by a pale brown haze.. It wasn’t what I was expecting. I was fairly disappointed with my surroundings but in the distance I could see a lush green forest lit up by the city lights.
I immediately felt I was lost in this cluttered city but I wasn’t going to let it stop me from exploring this unknown territory.
I needed to find a place to stay, I knew I couldn’t stay in this cold alleyway. Walking down the street I noticed a sign swaying in the wind. The green dragon tavern. I approached the door and caught a glimpse of a notice board, maybe I could find some work in the morning but for now I need some rest.
To my surprise, the tavern was an open room with a large roaring fire and stairs leading to a second floor. There were maybe 13 people sitting around the fire listening to a musician play.
I made my way over to the owner of the tavern and asked him
‘how much is a room for the night?’
The owner was rather gruff and replied ‘200 gold, for people like you!’
laughing arrogantly
I thought that was far too much and turned around to leave. I bumped into a man, spilling his drink.
‘watch ya self mate, do that again and I’ll punch you in the face’
I backed away slowly, not wanting to aggravate anyone else but clumsy me managed to trip over a chair, smashing a table as I hit the ground. Unfortunately three other people were sitting at the table and all of them got angry with me.
I just got into this town the last thing I wanted was to start a riot.
I turned for the door, before I knew it I was on the ground, in a whole lot of agony.
One of the men had hit me over the head with a chair. I wasn’t about to back down. I got up and faced the man that hit me. I was dizzy and my head hurt but I could still see him, he took a swing at me but I ducked and he hit another man standing behind me. An all out brawl started.
This obviously wasn’t the place I wanted to be so I bolted for the door and grabbed some fliers from the notice board and headed down the road.
I thought to myself ‘ I guess im going to have to rough it tonight’.
so……. what did you think of chapter one, plz tell me your thoughts and ideas. Oh by the way there are still some things I need to edit and it will be fixed by chapter two.

I’m recommending these three search engines and they are:
1.http://www.sleedo.com/-this one is good because every time you search you donate 10 grains of rice to poor family’s.
2.http://search-cube.com/-because it uses pictures in stead of words.
3.http://www.blackle.com/-its good because it saves 2,113,401.550 Watts per hour.
I hope you like and use these search engines.

I have to answer some question about friend ship
What are the differences between popularity and friendship?
-the difference is that in friendship you actually have friends being popular doesn’t mean you have friends.
How did he change during this period and what did he learn specifically about friendship?
-he became friendly, less arrogant and more likable.
How did knowing Mater, Sally and Doc help Lightning develop into a better friend?
-all he needed was a bit of tough love and Mater, Sally and Doc did that.
List five characteristics that you value in a friend. Write a description of one of your best friends
-caring
-trusting
-smartish
-funny
-helpful

Gold has been used since prehistoric times is used for all sorts of things from buying and selling to electronics and decorations to cakes.
lately gold prices has been soaring and is at an all time high selling for over 1200 US dollars, but why is it so valuable, well first of all its rare and hard to get because miners have to dig 100`s of metres down into the earth and secondly it is a symbol of great wealth.
Gold is a great investment, mainly because it will always keep it value. my conclusion is gold is one of the most useful and valuable metals in the world and is all ways going to be the best fall back plain for years to come.

Here’s a post on my literary class`s presentations on how Aboriginal life has changed in the last 100 years.
The best team was team two because they went for the longest amount of time, were confident, had a large verity of information and was the most interesting. Team 4 came in at 2nd, 5 at 3rd,1 was 4th and team 3 was the worst because they were unorganised, has little info and was uninteresting.
My team was unorganised, but still got the job done. The best in our team was stephanie because she did the most work in the group. The worst was Liam because he didn’t even start his work that he said he would do.
I had got all my work done on a USB of mine, all five minutes of it, but on the day, that morning I was i a hurry and forgot to get my USB so I was f to read some one else’s work which made me throughly dis-pleaced
